Jocelyn Winn, M.S.
Jocelyn Winn is the founder of One of Nine Books LLC, an independent publishing company dedicated to bringing meaningful stories to life and empowering others to share their own.
A lifelong lover of books and storytelling, Jocelyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in English–Creative Writing and a Master of Science in Industrial–Organizational Psychology. Her unique combination of creative writing, education, and leadership has shaped her belief that stories have the power to educate, inspire, heal, and connect people.
Jocelyn is the author of the memoir One of Nine: A Memoir and the creator of Denzel's "When..." Storybooks, a children's book series inspired by her beloved and dearly departed Shih Tzu, Denzel. Through her writing, she explores themes of resilience, belonging, hope, compassion, and the meaningful connections between people, animals, and the world around them.
With more than 16 years of experience in higher education, Jocelyn has dedicated her career to helping others grow, learn, and discover their potential. That same passion led her to establish One of Nine Books as more than a publishing company. Her vision is to create a place where authors receive guidance, readers discover stories that matter, and communities are inspired through books, workshops, consulting, and meaningful conversations.
Whether she's writing, mentoring aspiring authors, speaking at events, or developing new educational resources, Jocelyn remains committed to one simple belief:
Every story has the power to make a difference.
